Old Québec

After passing through le Porte Saint Jean we entered the old walled town of Québec. The Chateau Frontenac dominated the skyline, amidst historical buildings which housed many interesting restaurants and shops.

The Marché Marche du Vieux-Port had a large selection of foods from locals, such as berries, maple products, emu and goose pates, pastries, and meats. We found one stand that sold blood sausage, c’est delicieux.
